A long awaited sneak peek of Saray & Omar’s wedding day in Los Angeles. Since I’m swamped with editing holiday sessions and weddings, I’ll let the photos do the talking for me. Enjoy!

Marco Sanchez: Vanessa as always you have captured another great cherished moment in our family's celebration. Thank you very much for your artistic talent in taking such wonderful pictures. We love you! Marco and Alba Sanchez And all of our family!

Noelle: What an absolutely gorgeous couple! The photos with the sun setting behind them are gorgeous- great job!

Wow, did I have a blast shooting Cherie & Angel’s Catalina Island wedding! They chose Catalina Island as the perfect destination for their intimate nuptials on the beach. Surrounded by their families and closest friends, Cherie and Angel exchanged vows on Step Beach and then the party was on! The newlyweds made sure the day was filled with good food, great friends, a visit to one of the island’s cantinas and of course, a chance to dance the night away at the local club! It was such a fun day and I was so happy to be part of it. Thanks, Cherie & Angel!

Here’s a sweet engagement session from last week that I shot at Griffith Park in Los Angeles.  I met Saray while I was shooting her brother Angel’s wedding last August. In between all the bridal prep photos, Saray and I got to talking and she expressed her interest in learning more about photography. I offered to give her some pointers if she ever wanted…little did I know that just a few months later I’d be hearing from her to photograph her upcoming wedding. What an awesome surprise!

We spent the late afternoon at Griffith Park where Saray told me about Omar’s proposal during one of their hikes/picnics. It turns out Omar is quite the romantic, having surprised Saray in the past with a painting she really wanted. Unbeknownst to Saray, Omar had purchased the painting and planned out a hike for her to discover the hidden gift while walking the trail. So sweet! When it came time to pop the question, Omar incorporated the idea of the painting into his picnic proposal. During their hike to the picnic spot, Omar carried what looked like a book (or something) wrapped in paper. Saray thought it was another painting Omar wanted to surprise her with…when she unwrapped it, she got the surprise of a lifetime – an offer to spend a lifetime with Omar. :-)

Saray and Omar, you two are so cute together. I can’t wait to shoot your wedding this fall. Thanks for choosing me to be part of your big day.

Los Angeles Wedding Photographer ~ Saray & Omar: [...] long awaited sneak peek of Saray & Omar’s wedding day in Los Angeles. Since I’m swamped with editing holiday sessions and weddings, [...]

OK, so they aren’t really engaged (yet), but I like a good pre-April Fool’s joke :-)  If you check out their Facebook pages, you’ll see that most of their photos together were taken with an iPhone. While everyone loves a good Instagram pic, these two decided they wanted to have something more than the typical iPhone selfie and that’s where my services came in. :-)

Michelle and Terrence met in an an acting class in college and he’s been playing the role of leading man to her leading lady ever since.  Together they make a sweet couple (and a hot one at that!) whose easiness in front of the camera was a welcomed delight We spent the late afternoon strolling around the Fullerton Trail, chatting about their love of food, their worldly travels and all things Apple. Michelle and T, thanks for a fun shoot – come see me when it’s time to do the real thing (no pressure, T!).

To see more from their session, head on over to my FB fan page (click like if ya like!)…their album will be up soon!

These were the first two shots I took of them. As you can see, they were a little uptight in the beginning (j/k)  ;-)

Then they started workin’ it:

Showin’ some attitude:

The photo on the right – aaah…

So cute together!

Just when they thought I wasn’t looking…

George Masters: I just love that pic of them kissing with the soft focus flowers in the foreground. What a tender moment. I've been inspired to learn how to use my camera better and now I practicing pet photography! Keep up the great work Vanessa!
