Long Beach Newborn Photographer – Sienna

Her mommy and daddy couldn’t have been more excited to meet their little girl and apparently their little girl was even more excited to meet them. Baby Sienna made her worldly debut 6 weeks early. She spent the first couple weeks of her life in the NICU as many preemies do, but she was soon home and I got to photograph my first newborn of 2010. This was a special session for me because I’ve known Sienna’s mom and dad since the college years…I’m not going to say how long ago that was, but dang, it’s been a while! Anyhow, without further delay – and because once again, it’s waaaay past my bedtime, meet Sienna:

Long Beach Wedding Photographer – Ericka & Darren

Last Sunday I had the opportunity to do something I’m hoping to do a lot more of this year…shoot a wedding! Ericka & Darren were married on Valentine’s day in Long Beach. I couldn’t help but get a feeling of deja vu because I documented a very similar love story last year for another couple – but that was then and this is now :-)

Ericka & Darren were so much fun to work with. Before seeing them that day, I wondered if the Marine/groom would smile much in the photos because as a general rule, Marines are supposed to look intimidating and all that oorah stuff, but Darren couldn’t contain his happiness and he was all smiles that day. Don’t worry Uncle Sam, he’s still very intimidating, even when he smiles :-) Ericka was a vision of gorgeousness and an all around super sweet bride – no wonder why her hubby couldn’t stop smiling. He’s a very lucky guy.

Ericka and Darren, thanks so much for the opportunity to photograph your special day. You two are so perfect together and I wish you a lifetime of happiness. Ooorah!!!
