Last Monday I had the opportunity to photograph a civil wedding ceremony at the Old Orange County Courthouse.  Patty & Ray are tying the knot in Cabo San Lucas this weekend, but they needed to do the official/legal ceremony at the justice of the peace before jetting off to Mexico.  Their awesome friends and recently married clients of mine, Ellen & Stuart, wanted to give them something special as a wedding gift.  They gave me a call and asked me to shoot the civil ceremony for Patty & Ray because they thought an event that special should also be documented, even if it was only the legal schmeegle part – I couldn’t agree more!

We only had about an hour to shoot, but they were a very relaxed couple to work with -once the ceremony was over :-p   It was so cute to see how nervous Ray was right before the ceremony.  These two are such a loving couple and it shows in their photos.  Patty & Ray, I wish you a wonderful life together!  Congratulations on your wedding!
