Downtown LA Couple’s Photographer | Cyndie & Jason

August 5, 2010

Now here’s a post that I just couldn’t wait to get up on the blog.  I had the most incredible day hanging with Cyndie & Jason in the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles.  Jason is my uber stylish hair stylist and we’ve been trying to schedule a shoot for him and his wife Cyndie for the longest time.  It finally went down last Sunday.

This hot duo wanted the location of their shoot to be special, so we headed back to their old L.A. stomping grounds BC (that’s “Before Children” to those of you not familiar with the acronym :-p ).  From the moment we arrived, I knew it was going to be a bomb ass session (oops, there goes the G-rating, but yes, it was that good!).  Actually, from the moment they stepped out of their ride, it was clear that I had once again struck photographer’s gold.  A sexy couple, a plethora of ultra cool urban backdrops…bring in the guns (yes, I said “guns”) and you’ve got one smokin’ hot session.  Check it out for yourself.

Cyndie & Jason, thanks for such a fun and adventurous day.  Cyndie, J is super lucky to have you!  Jason – your crazy driving turned my hair gray!  I’m glad I have you to color it :-)

Can you believe they’ve been married for 15 years?

They tried to convince me they were camera shy – WHATever!

Remember the guns I mentioned earlier? Jason wanted something with a James Bond feel to it:

I won’t even try to pretend like I wasn’t worried the cops were gonna bust us at any moment!09_LA guns

With the weapons safely tucked away, we did some more exploring:

We rounded the corner and this is what we found. HOT DAMN!

I couldn’t get enough of this place – too bad we got kicked out for not having a permit (oops!)

P.S.  If you have an affinity for anything German, then head on over to Old World Restaurant in Huntington Beach.  Cyndie and her  family have owned and operated the Old World German Restaurant & Oktoberfest for over 30 years and they will hook you up – jå, jå !
