First of all, let me start this post by saying, Happy new year!  Yes, I  know, I’m a little late.  I haven’t blogged since December, but you know how crazy the holidays can get.  Now that things are settling in and getting back to normal, I’m finally getting around to editing Vernetta and Reggie’s engagement session.  OK, so they’re already married, but I didn’t get a chance to shoot their session before they got hitched (they live in Texas, so I can say “hitched”).  We did their session in about 30 minutes on New Year’s Eve.  Then we had to race back home to make sure our 4 kids hadn’t tied my husband to our Christmas tree.  Yeah, we left Jean-Jacques all by his lonesome to take care of a bunch of preschoolers (he’s so awesome!).  Anyway, light was fading fast, so we only got to hit a few spots, but we got some great shots for these two to display at their “big wedding” in March.  Check out the pics.  Oh, in case you notice any resemblance, I should mention that Vernetta is my sister!  Duh! :-p
